Teenagers’ drama festival wraps up in Yantian

The finale of the 2020 Yantian Teenagers’ Drama Festival was held on Sunday at the Yantian Experimental School.

Over 400 representatives from primary and middle schools, kindergartens, and public institutions in Yantian District attended the event.

The festival was kicked off in September. Contestants were required to submit videos of their performances for the preliminary contest, and a total of 19 submissions were in the finals.

Contestants in the finals were divided into four groups, namely, the middle school group, the primary school group, the preschool group and the public institution group.

Seven performances claimed the first prize, including “Seize the Day,” a play presented by Yantian Foreign Languages School, “Hide and Seek,” a play by the Lequn Experimental Primary School, “Accompanied by the School,” a recital by students from the Donghe Campus of Yantian Foreign Language Primary School, “King of the Forest,” a play by the Jiguan Kindergarten of Yantian District, “Three Naughty Chickens,” a play by the Meisha No. 3 Kindergarten of Yantian District, “Union,” a play by the Experimental Kindergarten of Yantian District, and “Goodbye, TV Zealots,” a play by the district’s teenager activity center.

In addition, a total of 12 performances won the second prize.
