Nantou Ancient Town

A 330-meter-long street inside the 1,700-year-old Nantou Ancient Town has been renovated recently with various historical, art and design exhibitions.

Venue: Nantou Ancient Town, Nanshan District (南山区南头古城)

Metro: Line 1 to Taoyuan Station (桃园站), Exit B, and then walk northward for 20 minutes

‘Self-Presentation’

“Self-Presentation,” an exhibition of prints selected from the China Printmaking Museum’s collection, is being held until Nov. 26. Follow the museum’s official WeChat account “GL_PRINTS” to book your visit.

Venue: China Printmaking Museum, Longhua District (龙华区中国版画博物馆)

Metro: Line 4 to Niuhu Station (牛湖站), Exit C and then take a taxi

Sea World

The “Values of Design: China in the Making” exhibition (68 yuan), running until Dec. 20, showcases 138 Chinese design works. A free photo exhibition of French photographer Jonathan Jimenez (better known as Jonk) is also being held until Nov. 25.

Venue: Sea World Culture and Arts Center, Nanshan District (南山区海上世界文化艺术中心)

Guan Shanyue’s art

Master Guan Shanyue’s paintings of murals in the Mogao Caves and the landscape in Northwest China are on display at the “Camel Bells Beyond the Great Wall” exhibition until June 26, 2021. Follow the WeChat account “gsyart” to book your visit.

‘Nomadic’

Based on the rhythm of Mongolian dance, Hu Shenyuan’s “Nomadic” dance takes the body itself as the starting point, combining it with contemporary dance to develop and create a unique dance language. The choreographer creates body shapes in a variety of emotions with a large number of footsteps.

Time: 8 p.m., Nov. 15-16
