POWERCHINA Eco-environmental Group Co. Ltd., a frequent exhibitor of previous China Hi-Tech Fairs, brought several innovative products designed for ecological and environmental protection to this year’s event, which closed yesterday at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center.

A 5G driverless patrol boat, exhibited at the fair, breaks the limits of space and time to allow workers to control the boat to operate in any waters from an office, supported by a series of advanced technologies such as 5G, BeiDou positioning system, unmanned driving, and solar-power-generated supply of electricity.

The driverless boat can also conduct different tasks when loaded with different modules. For example, with a cleaning module, the boat can clear up garbage and floating objects in the water.

In addition, the company introduced a robot system that can detect and investigate culverts and high-water-level pipes in the city’s drainage system and a 3D laser scanner for culvert outlet positioning and defect assessment.

The two facilities have been applied in various scenarios in the city, according to the company.

The company also showcased an eco-wetland model that only uses pure biological methods to improve the water quality of wetlands.

POWERCHINA Eco-environmental Group, registered in Bao’an District, has participated in the Maozhou River treatment project in Bao’an.

Its water treatment experience has also been successfully applied in many projects across the country, according to the company’s website.
