NANSHAN District, a National Culture and Technology Integration Demonstration Base, began offering an interactive experience for online visitors to have a panoramic 3D view of the district by applying digital modeling and circum-vision technologies in the virtual hall at the cultural fair that opened Monday. For the online cultural fair this year, the VR hall houses 14 culture industrial parks, 16 cultural facilities and 34 cultural enterprises. The hall is divided into four sections including culture and technology, creation and design, cultural tourism and culture industrial parks. Visitors can visit the whole hall and interact with each section by choosing pictures, videos, 3D models, and VR full-view modes. In the hall, visitors can learn about the latest achievements in culture and science integration at cultural facilities like Nantou Ancient Town, Nanshan Museum, Shenzhen Bay Culture Square, Shekou Sea World Culture Center, Window of the World and the Splendid China•China Folk Culture Villages theme park and 50 culture+tech enterprises like Tencent, Fantawild, OCT and Arton. In Nanshan District, mobile Internet and AI have been widely used by enterprises in new media, digital movies, creative design, digital reading and smart education. They are also used to carry on traditional culture. A good example of this is a full-view panoramic full-dome movie, “The Cowherd and the Weaving Maid,” presented by Fantawild. Nanshan District is home to four State-level culture industry demonstration bases, 13 city-level industrial parks and 17 publicly listed cultural enterprises. (Han Ximin) |
