SpongeBob A six-meter-tall SpongeBob is sitting in the Haide Square of Coastal City, grinning at every passerby throughout this Christmas, New Year and Spring Festival season. On the second floor of the shopping center, you can take selfies at a SpongeBob-themed exhibition and see various images of Patrick Star, Mr. Krabs and Squidward Tentacles inside the shopping center. A six-meter-tall Pinkie Pie will greet shoppers outside City Mall starting Dec. 24 and visitors can take selfies with a giant rainbow and many other installations. You can buy creative dolls at the B1 floor and enjoy an illustration exhibition at the Poly Art Center on the first floor. The market has been decked out with lights and food, beverage, handicrafts and festive goods stalls for a cozy festive season. Expect plenty of Western light food, fast food, traditional Hakka glutinous rice snacks, Japanese-style dorayaki, Taiwanese-style teppanyaki and Cantonese desserts, all accompanied by live music that is sure to get you in the festive mood.
