TENNIS beauty Maria Sharapova has gotten engaged to the ex-husband of Meghan Markle’s fashion designer BFF Misha Nonoo.

The Russian champion will tie the knot with British art dealer Alexander Gilkes, who went to Eton College with Princes William and Harry, and is close friends with Princess Eugenie and Pippa Middleton.

Sharapova, who announced her retirement from tennis earlier this year, announced the news on her Instagram on Thursday, with a black and white selfie of her and Alexander.

“I said yes from the first day we met,” Maria wrote in the caption. “This was our little secret, wasn’t it?”

Alexander also shared the news on Instagram, writing, “Thank you for making me a very very happy boy. I look forward to a lifetime of loving you, and learning from you.”

The two have been dating since 2018.

Gilkes split from Nonoo in 2016, four years after their extravagant Venetian wedding that brought out guests including Princess Beatrice and Eugenie as well as James Middleton and featured a performance from Lana del Rey.

Page Six reported that “wild ambition” had brought down their marriage.

Nonoo wed oil heir Mikey Hess in September 2019 in a lavish ceremony at Villa Aurelia in Rome, with guests including Markle and Prince Harry, Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom and Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner. They welcomed a baby boy in March.

It’s the first wedding for Sharapova, who previously dated tennis pro Grigor Dimitrov.(SD-Agencies)
