It presented three main themed routes: ice and hot spring, Spring Festival customs in ancient towns, and delicacies and shopping. Representatives from popular tourist sites in Hebei Province including the Chongli Ice and Snow Tourist Resort in Zhangjiakou, China Horse Town in Chengde, The Fishisland Ocean Resort in Qinhuangdao, Guangfu Ancient Town in Handan, Chongwen Street in Dingzhou, Taihang Water Town in Baoding and Xinji International Leather City all gave promotion presentations at the event, with some giving out exquisite gifts and discounts. At the promotion event, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Hebei Province launched a special Spring Festival tourism package for Shenzhen citizens, which includes around 120 tourist sites, hotel discounts, and around 180 festive events and performances. Additionally, the department also joined hands with online platforms including Douyin (the Chinese version of TikTok), Kuaishou, Sina Weibo, Baidu and Meituan for precise marketing in the form of “Internet+Culture and Tourism.” Shenzhen is one of the main tourist sources of Hebei Province. The two places have continuous exchanges. The Hebei Tourism (Shenzhen) Promotion Center was also set up on the same day, which have become a new platform for cooperation and exchange between the two regions. |
