
AN Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center for Hong Kong and Macao Youth was put into use in a building next to Shenzhen North Railway Station on Thursday, the fourth anniversary of the establishment of Longhua District. At the inauguration ceremony, the first batch of more than 30 entrepreneurial teams from Hong Kong and Macao signed strategic cooperation agreements with the center; while another 30 teams put forward their application for entering the facility. The entrepreneurship and innovation center is located on floors 12 and 13 in Huide Building next to Shenzhen North Railway Station. The center has a floor area of 4,240 square meters and houses a maker space, incubation space, road show functional hall, services for enterprises hall and volunteer service station. As a one-stop service platform for serving young people from Hong Kong and Macao who come to engage in entrepreneurship and innovation in Longhua, the center has created a comfortable, warm and intelligent environment for them as per the international, modern, green and intelligent concepts. Meanwhile, Longhua District has specially launched preferential policies with respect to innovative projects, talent and residences, and formed a series of policy service systems for the registration of businesses, accounting and reporting taxes, cross-border legal consultancy, talent recruitment, guidance for entrepreneurship, investment and financing, and matchmaking. In the future, the center will strive to become a demonstration base in terms of reform and innovation, system construction, supporting policies and public service so as to attract more Hong Kong and Macao young people to study, work and live in Longhua.
