果汁相
    2021-01-14  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Meaning:

“果汁” means “juice,” and “相” means “looks, appearance.” This term, originating from South Korea, is used to describe young women with a fresh, fit and lovely appearance. The typical “juicy look” woman possesses glowing fair skin, pink soft cheeks and eyes like crescent moons when smiling.

Example:

A: 我最近又长胖了。太苦恼了!

Wǒ zuìjìn yòu zhǎngpàng le。Tài kǔnǎo le!

I’ve put on a few pounds recently. It’s so annoying!

B: 你这样挺好的,脸蛋儿是健康活力的果汁相。

Nǐ zhèyàng tǐng hǎo de,liǎndànr shì jiànkāng huólì de guǒzhīxiàng。

You look fine to me. Your face has that healthy glow, which Koreans would describe as “a juicy look.”
