Nanshan Museum

A total of 124 pieces/sets of the State of Chu relics dating back to more than 2,200 years ago are on display until April 5. Meanwhile, various works with the theme of 12 Chinese zodiac animals created by Han Meilin are also on display until Feb. 28. Visitors should book on the WeChat account “nanshanmuseum.”

‘Genesis’

Chinese artist Ren Zhe is exhibiting his sculptures at the “Genesis: The Awakened Warrior” exhibition until April 3. Entry is free. Ren’s sculptures take the form of masculine warrior figures to provide dynamism to the human anatomy that conveys a passionate, energetic existence.

Venue: 9-10/F, PAFC Mall, Futian District (福田区平安金融中心商场9-10楼)

Sea World

The “Fashioned From Nature” exhibition (98 yuan), together with a Chinese section, “Fashioned From Nature in China: Then and Now,” presents nearly 400 garments and accessories going back centuries. The exhibition, running until June 6, showcases items from the V&A’s and the China National Silk Museum’s extensive collections as well as international loans. Meanwhile, artist duo A.A Murakami is holding a free exhibition until April 18.

C Future Lab

Let’s explore the future at C Future Lab’s “An Experiment of Future City” exhibition (128 yuan) running until March 31. Visitors can browse more than 100 past designs and projects by the Stockholm Design Lab created from 1998 to 2019. The exhibits are dotted with new media artworks, such as Patrick Blanc’s “The Jungle Dragon Dance” and Ross Lovegrove’s “The Cell.”

Contemporary artworks

“Dispersion and Convergence: The Third Global Overseas Chinese Artists Exhibition,” running until March 14, showcases works by 17 artists with Chinese heritage from 14 countries and regions. Visitors are required to book on the WeChat account “hxnartmuseum.”
