Given the pandemic, this was the first time for SMBU to hold the event online. Eight teachers from SMBU and the Beijing Institute of Technology explained the laws of physics and knowledge of chemistry to students in simple language and via experiments. An additional four teachers from Russia were responsible for Russian language courses to help students learn Russian. During an interaction session, students were using Russian to greet each other and to introduce themselves and their cities. Many students said that they not only learned Russian culture but also improved their Russian speaking skills through the camp. SMBU’s winter camp was designed to help Chinese students enhance their knowledge and broaden their international views by providing high-quality course programs and bridging them with Russian language courses. |
