Paris Hilton engaged

PARIS HILTON is engaged to boyfriend Carter Reum after a year of dating.

Entrepreneur Reum popped the question to the Hilton Hotel heiress as they celebrated her 40th birthday on a private island.

The Hilton heiress, socialite and DJ has been engaged three times previously. Before finding love with Reum, Hilton called off her engagement to actor Chris Zykla in November 2018 after two years together. She was previously engaged to Greek shipping heir Paris Kassidokostas-Latsis in 2005 and model Jason Shaw from 2002 to 2003.

The “House of Wax” actress has also dated Nick Carter, Benji Madden and Doug Reinhardt.

Awards

COMING-OF-AGE drama “Rocks” has claimed the top prize at the delayed 2020 British Independent Film Awards.

Sarah Gavron’s acclaimed feature about a group of teenage girls in London was named best British independent film at an online awards ceremony Thursday, one of five awards the film won on the night, including best supporting actress and best newcomer for Kosar Ali.

The BIFA ceremony also saw Oscar-tipped Anthony Hopkins named best actor for Florian Zeller’s “The Father,” which also won best screenplay and best editing. British horror “His House” was also a multiple winner, claiming best director for Remi Weekes, best actress for Wumni Mosaku and best effects.

Psychological horror “Saint Maud,” which went into the BIFA with a record 17 nominations, claimed best debut director for Rose Glass and best cinematography for Ben Fordesman.

Voice role

JANE FONDA has nabbed a lead voice role in “Luck,” the upcoming animation movie from Apple and Skydance Animation for AppleTV+.

Fonda will voice the role of The Dragon, the exuberant CEO of Good Luck and the luckiest ancient being in all the land. But when bad luck starts to spin out of control, Fonda’s character must face her fears or risk losing good luck forever.

News of Fonda boarding “Luck” follows Apple striking an overall deal with Skydance Animation that includes Apple Original Films debuting the animated movies “Luck” and “Spellbound,” alongside a two season order for “The Search for WondLa” series.(SD-Agencies)
