The Binhai Boulevard renovation project, with China Tiesiju Civil Engineering Group as the contractor, has speeded up after the Lunar New Year holiday. Meanwhile, strict measures have been taken to prevent the COVID-19 pandemic. The renovation project spans Nanshan and Futian districts, starting from the Shahe East Road Flyover and ending at Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway. It covers a total length of 5,950 meters, including a 1,057-meter-long tunnel. The evacuation of the tunnel’s first two phases has been completed. Upon completion, part of Binhai Boulevard will go underground, connecting more urban areas with the picturesque Shenzhen Bay.(Lai Huijun,Chu Lingpeng, Zhou Yadong)
