Cold spells this week

THE temperatures will slightly drop by 2-3 degrees Celsius today and tomorrow due to the cold air affecting Guangdong Province since yesterday.

In northern Guangdong, the temperatures will drop by 3-5 degrees Celsius.

It will be cloudy with drizzles between Thursday and Friday, according to Shenzhen Meteorological Observatory.

Second inspections

SHENZHEN passengers taking trains to Beijing between March 1 and 12 are required to go through double safety and temperature checks in Shenzhen railway stations. Passengers must also provide nucleic acid test reports taken within seven days, sources from Shenzhen North Railway Station said yesterday.

Bus terminal closed

THE Fuyong Bus Terminal in Bao’an District stopped its operations yesterday after 26 years of business.

The closure of the long-distance bus service is due to declining business from the rise of more high-speed trains and private vehicles, in addition to the COVID-19 pandemic.
