Everything is like a dream.

“Get away from my body. You have put so much weight on me.” The box under the toy car struggles hard and protests strongly to the car. The car grins and smoothly drives itself away from the box.

The box bows and smiles politely to Linda. “Hello. Just call me Box A.”

Linda can’t believe her eyes. “Is this real or am I in a dream?” she says with much emotion.

“Of course it’s real,” the kettle on the table starts talking, too. “We are here to help you to realize your dream.”

“Realize my dream?” asks Linda.

“To make you a better person,” the box smiles gently as it speaks.

“You are beautiful,” the computer says.

“No, I am not,” Linda is depressed again.

“Come on. What you need is confidence and perseverance.” The kettle jumps towards her and touches her hand with its tiny hands.

Linda feels comforted. She laughs whole-heartedly for the first time in her life.

“What do you want to realize the most at this very moment?,” the box asks her. Linda thinks for a while, and says, “I am too fat and common. I can’t attract the attention of the most handsome boy in my class.” She slowly bows her head as she says it.

“Why, it’s the easiest thing in the world,” the toy kettle laughs. “I can take you to a place where you could reshape yourself.”

“Where?”

“Follow me.” With these words, the toy car drags Linda inside itself. To Linda’s surprise, she can sit inside the toy car.

The car nods to the computer and within a minute there is a big wind blowing from the direction of the computer. The toy car drives towards the computer and suddenly disappears.

When Linda opens her eyes, she is in a world full of objects. The kettle, boxes, cars, computers, a refrigerator… all sorts of objects. It is a very crowded world here. She has no idea if there is even a path to get here.

Just as Linda arrives, all the objects start to talk to her at once.

“Hello, welcome to our world.”

“Who is the owner of these objects?” Linda asks the toy car.

“It is a big magician. I will take you to see her,” the toy car says as it smiles.

Then the car flies into the air. It soon arrives at a mushroom house in the forest.

“We can go inside,” it tells Linda.

The mushroom house is gorgeous inside. It is like a big palace with golden decorations and balloons on the wall. The toy car leads her into a room with seven doors. An old lady is sitting in the middle of the room.

To Linda’s surprise, it is the old lady whom she met on the bridge! But she doesn’t look as shabby as she was on the bridge. Now she has changed into beautiful luxurious clothes. The jewelry she wears is shining in the sunlight.

“Don’t be surprised,” the lady speaks kindly and smiles. “I want to thank you for the ticket.”

Linda is dumbfounded.

“In order to reward you, I can help you realize one dream in your mind. Young girl, what do you want most?”

Linda was thinking hard. Beauty? Money, love, success in school? No, what she wants most is to catch the attention of other people!
