The bus went along Chegongmiao, Shenzhen Bay and Tencent’s head office, serving on a route presenting the city’s achievements in the high-tech industry and in environmental protection. Shenzhen Bus Group launched three sightseeing bus lines featuring culture, science and nightview in October last year. These buses are decorated in red, received a nick name of “red fatty.” Passengers can enjoy the splendid view through the windows and the sunroofs. The featured bus has a special music theme named after renowned Chinese pianist Lang Lang. It is equipped with the same seats used in the National Center for the Performing Arts, while beautiful classical music will be played via the 5G and VR technologies inside. The bus driver, 38-year-old Luo Fei, warmly welcomes every tourist. He is always proud to recall the day he received the approval for driving the music-themed bus and was appointed as the bus director by Lang Lang last October. When the photographer’s camera captured Luo, he just said more shoots should be directed at the “red fatty.” Tickets for the sightseeing buses are available at the WeChat account “szlyggb” (“深圳观光巴士”). A day ticket is 50 yuan (US$7.73) for adults and 30 yuan for the elderly and children. Visitors can take unlimited rides on any of the three routes within 24 hours after the first ticket checking. |
