Driver’s license renewal

SHENZHEN’S traffic police announced that people who want to renew their driver’s license should first make an appointment online before heading to the self-service hall. Appointments are booked via the office’s official WeChat account “szcgs2012” (深圳车管所).

Users will receive a text message after their reservation is successfully made.

Tax reduction

SHENZHEN Customs said it reduced or exempted taxes by 1.38 billion yuan (US$211 million) in 2020, an increase of 9.7 percent year on year. Tax reductions and exemptions on imported scientific research materials reached 301 million yuan, up 69 percent.
