Broaden students’ horizons with ‘Research Higher’ resource
    2021-03-24  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

ACASOC, a Shenzhen-based online English education platform, has joined hands with National Geographic Learning (NGL) to introduce to Chinese students NGL’s learning resource “Reach Higher,” according to a signing ceremony of the bilateral strategic cooperation agreement on March 19.

This marks the second cooperation between the two since they first teamed up in 2018.

According to the agreement, in the future both parties will continue to cooperate in creating a higher standard curriculum system and explore new ways to foster Chinese children’s international horizons, critical thinking and innovative thinking capabilities.

“Reach Higher” guides students to learn English, learn about the world and learn about themselves through authentic content with a global perspective. The program showcases original fiction, science and social studies content to develop English literacy skills.

Co-CEO of ACASOC Senpy So said in his address, “Teaching materials constitutes an important tool for teaching and an essential guarantee for teaching quality. ACASOC insists on providing quality online English courses for students. This time, ACASOC chooses to cooperate with NGL for the second time to introduce the ‘Reach Higher’ program with richer contents, so as to help students broaden their horizons and lead them to a broader stage.”

Michael Cahill, NGL’s regional director in Asia, said in his video speech that he is deeply aware of ACASOC’s efforts and passion in creating quality English learning contents. He also believes ACASOC can fully present the learning resources to Chinese students and help them realize their learning goals.

Wang Lu, NGL’s general manager in China, expressed gratitude for ACASOC’s trust in her speech and showed great expectations for their second-time cooperation. Wang hoped that the enhanced cooperation with ACASOC can bring better learning experiences to Chinese students.
