Snowflakes falling from the sky,

out of the bosom of air.

Stranger from heaven,

who are you?

Are you an angel?

Pure and holy,

not fearing the pain and darkness under the sun.

Are you a flower?

If so,

You’re a symbol of hope.

Your language is:

Wish thee abandon hatred;

Wish thee forgive the harm;

Wish thee see light in darkness;

Wish thee see hope in despair.

Are you crying?

Carrying heart of the saddened nights.

Falling at sharp vicissitudes of fortune.

Laying alone upon solitary streets.

I realize you do not need my judgment,

but I can’t help but praise you.

You travel between heaven and Earth,

Enduring what I can never imagine.

And yet,

you say nothing,

but lay in silence.

You experience pain through that long

journey,

with many crossroads along the way,

but when you arrive,

you are still crystal clear,

like you were,

nothing changed.

Noble.

Pretty.

Surreal.
