Recently crowned the Academy of Country Music New Female Artist of the Year, Gabby Barrett is set to perform and vie for Single of the Year (“I Hope”) at the 56th ACM Awards this coming Sunday. Called “the face of Gen-Z Country music,” the singer quickly shot to stardom last year. “The Good Ones” is a love song that celebrates the men worth holding onto. Cade Foehner, Gabby Barrett’s husband and fellow “American Idol” alum, served as inspiration for the tune.
