Fiture opens flagship store in Beijing
    2021-04-14  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Technology continues to evolve in an interesting way in China as Fiture, a Chinese startup that offers smart home fitness equipment and solutions, is tapping into the rising demand for home workouts.

Fiture opened its first flagship store in Beijing on Saturday, where the company unveiled its landmark product, the smart fitness mirror.

The mirror, dubbed Fiture Slim, enables users to take an AI fitness class online. Through its AI camera and self-developed intelligent motion-tracking system, the mirror can detect human bodies and postures with high precision.

With full display and 4K resolution, the smart mirror is as thin as 48mm and can be hung on the wall or placed standing up on the ground, so users don’t need extra space and can exercise anytime at home.

Industry insiders said the market potential for the home workout is huge in the country, even when the COVID-19 pandemic is under better control. The technology can help in a better way through capturing a greater range of detailed motions.

A virtual AI coach can help users complete physical tests, customize courses based on the physical test results and offer guidance when users are not exercising properly.

Notably, in addition to classic courses, including strength training, yoga and aerobics, Fiture offers a series of exclusive courses for pregnant women, including professional exercises.(China Daily)
