According to YG Entertainment, BLACKPINK’s “Lovesick Girls” music video surpassed 400 million views on YouTube at 11:55 a.m. on Monday. It is the highest record for K-pop girl groups.

The “Lovesick Girls” music video was well received for revealing mature acting of BLACKPINK members, unlike existing works that were popular for their intense performance-oriented composition and directing. The number of BLACKPINK’s YouTube subscribers has risen sharply, currently it is over 60.1 million. Apart from the “first-best-most” female artist titles, they are closely following Justin Bieber, the top one in the field.

Meanwhile, the song “Lovesick Girls” also achieved remarkable results on major global charts. This song has been taking the top of the Global YouTube Song Top 100 for two consecutive weeks, ranked 3rd on the Spotify Global Chart, and was also ranked 59th in the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, drawing attention in the mainstream pop market.

The album sold more than 1.2 million copies, and BLACKPINK became the first million seller among K-pop girl groups.
