MAY 1 is recognized as International Labor Day. In a city renowned for its construction speed, workers’ contributions to Shenzhen’s construction shine bright.

The satellite hall of Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport, which covers 239,000 square meters and is expected to provide services for 22 million passengers a year upon completion, will be put into use this year.

Construction of several transportation projects is being fast tracked. These projects include the Shenzhen section of Ganzhou-Shenzhen High-speed Railway, the Huangmugang transportation hub, the renovation project at the headquarters base section of Binhai Boulevard, and Phase II of Metro Line 8.
