SHENZHEN enterprises stole the show with their high-tech and cultural products on display at the first China International Consumer Products Expo in Haikou, Hainan Province. The expo, co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the Hainan Provincial Government, is scheduled to close today. From smart wearables, intelligent stereos with flexible displays, mechanical keyboards, to modern porcelains, limited- edition bronze clockworks and jewelries, Shenzhen enterprises are showing their brands that merge elements of technology, culture and unique designs. Porcelain maker China Yong Feng Yuan Co. Ltd. sold 30 sets of porcelain on the first day when the expo opened Friday. “We display our products and learn from others. The expo is a magnet for many renowned international brands and we can learn from them and make our products better,” said Liu Donghao, an employee with the company. Exhibitors at the expo praised Shenzhen’s business environment and consumption vitality. “We have 17 shops in Shenzhen and are increasing investment in Shenzhen,” said Zhao Aiwen with Swarovski, a jewelry maker.
