Students from Shenzhen Yucai High School in Nanshan District have performed exceedingly well in national and municipal-level sports competitions recently.

Lai Yunhan from the school swim team won the 50m, 100m and 200m butterfly races at the National Middle School Student Swimming Tournament and first mock contest of the 2020 Jinjiang Gymnasiade hosted by China School Sports Federation (CSSF) in Jinjiang City, Fujian Province. Her teammate, Mao Zhuohui, also won as second runner-up in the 100m backstroke race in the competition.

Additionally, the school’s boys’ and girls’ volleyball teams won the championship and were runners-up at the 2021 Shenzhen Primary and Middle School Volleyball Contest held at Buji School in Longgang District, respectively. The school was also awarded as the best organizer of the event.

Yucai High School will remain steadfast in its dedication to building itself as an example for other schools of physical education in Shenzhen and in its promotion of holistic development for its students. (Wang Haolan)
