At school, we will meet many kinds of people. It is important for us to build and keep good interpersonal relationships. Here are some advice on how to get along with others.

Being kind is most important. People prefer to stay with kind people. I had a such experience with kindness about 1 year ago. I waited at a bus station to go back home from school. While I was waiting for the bus, an old woman came to the bus station. She looked at the bus schedule on the bulletin board for quite some time with a very puzzled face. I decided to offer help. After asking her quite a few times, I finally figured out she was puzzled about which bus she should take. Fortunately, I found out that we were going to the same place and we would get on the same bus.

We waited for the bus together. The weather was so hot that sweat came out of my forehead. Seeing that, the woman took out a packet of tissue and helped me wipe the sweat off. Later, she held her umbrella over our heads and shared it with me, like my grandma. Suddenly, my heart was full of gratitude to her!

Understanding others is essential. As we know, understanding helps us to finish team projects effectively. When I was a junior middle school student, I often took part in class activities. Through these activities, I became aware of the importance of understanding others.

Being sincere helps you make friends with others. Staying with insincere people can make you upset. Showing sincerity is a direct way to deepen your relationships with others.

Being honest helps you to keep long stable relationships. Staying with dishonest people will make you feel uncomfortable. Sometimes, your honesty can bring you trouble. Don’t worry; nothing is wrong with honesty. If you have an honest heart, you can eventually be understood and find your close friends.

To stay with others is crucial during our life. Being kind, sincere, honest and understanding can help you get on well with others. Always remember “A friend in need is a friend indeed.” I hope I can make many friends and enjoy my life.
