Shenzhen Museum

Several Liye Qin Slips and 31 pieces of Qin-Dynasty artifacts are on display at an exhibition running until July 4. And the “Horizons: The Evolution of Astronomical Observations” exhibition running until Sept. 12 tells the story of the development of humans observing the sky. Visitors can admire more than 40 antique telescopes, reproductions of armillary spheres, as well as items from modern space exploration.

One Art Festival

The One Art Festival includes three contemporary art exhibitions. Miriam Cabessa and Annaluigia Boeretto who have been featured at the Venice Biennale are exhibiting their abstract artworks at Bravo Arts until July 9. Chinese artist Li Binyuan is exhibiting his latest video recording his performance art at the “Blocking” exhibition at Mangrove Gallery until Aug. 28. And a group of Chinese artists, including Yan Shilin, Li Wei and Liu Zhiyin among others, are exhibiting their sculptures and paintings at One Bay until July 31.
