A view of the tunnel construction site of the Binhai Boulevard renovation project near Shenzhen Bay Area Headquarters Base on Monday. Construction on the main section of the renovation project started recently. The whole project extends 5.95 kilometers, including a 1.56-kilometer tunnel. The project covers Nanshan and Futian districts, starting from Shahe East Road Flyover and ending at Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway. This section of the boulevard is going to be renovated into 14 lanes for two directions.
