Auto show

More than 1,000 models of sedans from 100 domestic and international brands, as well as the latest car operating systems, will be showcased at the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Auto Show (60 yuan) from this Saturday to July 25.

Paper-cutting, astronomy

Paper-cutting works created by folk artists from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area are on display until July 28, reviewing the great history of the Communist Party of China (CPC). The “Horizons: The Evolution of Astronomical Observations” exhibition running until Sept. 12 tells the story of the development of humans observing the sky. Visitors can admire the 100-gram lunar soil, more than 40 antique telescopes, reproductions of armillary spheres, as well as items from modern space exploration.

Japanese graphic design

A Japanese graphic design exhibition (80 yuan) is being held until July 25, featuring 300 items designed by 20 renowned Japanese graphic designers, including Taku Satoh, Sano Kenjiro and Shogo Kishino.

Sea World

“Values of Design: China in the Making” (68 yuan) is Design Society’s permanent exhibition exploring the growing field of Chinese design. The “Vibrating Clouds” exhibition, running until this Sunday, displays installations, books and videos to show how designers respond to climate change.
