‘Thousand Mirages’

The “Thousand Mirages” exhibition, running until July 31, showcases contemporary artworks by 21 artists and teams. Highlighted items include LAAB’s art installation “Kaleidome,” Qiu Anxiong’s video “New Classic of Mountains and Seas” and Tian Xiaolei’s multi-screen video installation “Myth.”

Venues: Southwest entrance, northeast entrance and indoor area on the second floor of Phase I and outdoor corridor of Phase II, The MixC, Luohu Distirct (罗湖区深圳万象城一期西南门、东北门、二楼室内空间和二期户外通道)

Metro: Line 1 or 2 to Grand Theater Station (大剧院站), Exit C

‘Long Life Design’

Design buffs and lifestyle enthusiasts should head to the “Long Life Design: Thinking and Practice 2000-2020” exhibition where a wide range of Japanese and Chinese products are on display. The exhibition runs until Sept. 12.

Tickets: 15-30 yuan, free on Tuesdays

Venue: OCT Art & Design Gallery, Nanshan District (南山区华•美术馆)

Pingshan Art Museum

Six exhibitions of the “Nine-Tiered Pagoda: Spatial and Visual Magic” project are on display at the Pingshan Art Museum. The project invites nine groups of artists, nine architects and nine designers to form nine temporary teams to do art. Meanwhile, visitors can immerse themselves in the museum’s first virtual art exhibition featuring eight Chinese contemporary artists’ works. Entry is free.

‘Towards Glory’

Paintings at the “Towards Glory” exhibition will lead visitors to review some of the historic moments of the Communist Party of China (CPC), such as the First National Congress of the CPC, the reform and opening up, and the recent poverty alleviation efforts. Books on the CPC history are also on display at the exhibition which runs until this Sunday. Entry is free.

Venue: Dafen Art Museum, Longgang District (龙岗区大芬美术馆)
