The 21stnational youth navigation model competition Shenzhen division was recently held at the Shenzhen Adolescent Activity Center in Futian District. The event attracted more than 200 students from more than 10 schools in the city.

Lyu Wuge, Zheng Lijuan and CaiJiaqing got first prizes in categories of straight line navigation, electric remote control speedboat racing and R/C catamaran speedboat chase race respectively; Yan Jiawei, Liang Jietong and CaiJiaqing from Shenzhen Second Foreign Languages School won the team gold medal in the water soccer project.

“It’s not just a competition, but more of a meaningful lecture to help students gain knowledge on national defense and marine science,” a staff member of the organizers said, adding that the competition was dedicated to the 100 anniversary of the Founding of the CPC. (LanZhixin)
