The news of the English Talent Show stimulated the interest of my roommates in the dormitory and inspired our high spirits to give a performance. All the members couldn’t wait to participate and we chose “The Villains Lair” which was able to involve all of us.

First, we wrote the script based on the popular video and added some amusing lines into the story and named it “Villians’ Tea Party.” It includes the episode of asking the uninvited guest, monster Godzilla, whether it is a villain or not, based on the cartoon film, “Wreck It Ralph.”

We designed the settings and made most of the stage props ourselves. In order to rehearse the drama, we spent much time in practicing. We even woke up early to fumble in the darkness to rehearse although we couldn’t avoid disputing, even quarreling during the process of preparing.

In fact, we thought we would be very nervous when we stood on stage, but we weren’t.

Though we carelessly broke a glass when we set the stage, we still completed the performance perfectly in a relaxing and calm way. Because we were together and our hearts were linked to each other, we had a great success.

Through this activity, we have learned more about how to tackle difficulties and experienced the strength of cooperation. Most importantly, the experience will gleam in our school life as an unforgettable memory.
