One Art Festival

Chinese artist Li Binyuan is exhibiting his latest video recording his performance art at the “Blocking” exhibition at Mangrove Gallery until Aug. 28. And a group of Chinese artists, including Yan Shilin, Li Wei and Liu Zhiyin among others, are exhibiting their sculptures and paintings at One Bay until July 31.

Nantou Ancient Town

Two streets inside the 1,700-year-old Nantou Ancient Town have been renovated with historical, art and design exhibitions, as well as restaurants and gift shops.

Venue: Nantou Ancient Town, Nanshan District (南山区南头古城)

Metro: Line 1 to Taoyuan Station (桃园站), Exit B

La Vie

The newly opened La Vie in Shekou is a comprehensive space for exhibitions, readings, performances and leisure where visitors can check some new exhibits until Aug. 28. You can wander freely in the spectacular space dotted with Guangdong artist Nathan Zhou’s graffiti, appreciate every subtle improvised detail and interpret the connection between different artistic images in your own way.

Art, design and crossover —these are the labels that have followed designer Yin Jiulong throughout his artistic career. At La Vie, visitors can admire an array of his creative porcelain designs.

Seals

Seals from the Xiling Seal Art Society are on display until July 31 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC). Paper-cuttings, photos and paintings related to the CPC history and its admirable success are also exhibited.

Founded in 1904 by Ding Fuzhi, Wang Fu’an, Wu Yin and Ye Weiming, the Xiling Seal Art Society is a Chinese arts organization based in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province.

Venue: Square near the west entrance to Honey Park, Futian District (福田区香蜜公园西门广场)
