SOUTH KOREAN electronic giants Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics have ranked No.1 in all categories in the consumer satisfaction evaluation of home appliances products conducted by U.S. market research firm J.D. Power.

In particular, Samsung Electronics set the record for the most awards ever.

According to the consumer satisfaction survey result announced by J.D. Power on Friday, Samsung Electronics ranked No.1 in nine categories, including over-the-range microwave, cooktop, wall oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, dryer and washing machine.

Samsung Electronics achieved No.1 in comprehensive ranking this year following last year’s No. 1 ranking in eight categories.

Samsung Electronics has received positive ratings for its “Bespoke” French door refrigerator with customized design and technology.

LG Electronics ranked No.1 in two categories, freestanding range and general refrigerator.

It also achieved high ranks in other categories, including dishwasher, French door refrigerator, two-door refrigerator, front-load washer, top-load washer, cooktop and wall oven.
