The performances I enjoyed

Instructed by Shi Hui

On Christmas Eve, I watched an English talent show. There were seven performances with singing, dubbing, acting, and so on. One of my favorite performances was the rap song “Riot.” Two cool boys sang the song with powerful and magnetic voices, which is both relaxing and cheerful. Flow, which is the most important thing in a rap song, is the rhyme of the lyrics, the pause of the rhythm and the lightness of the pronunciation. Although the flow of this song is complex, they still performed it brilliantly. During the rap, I couldn’t help swaying with the song.

Another performance that attracted me was “Villains’ Tea Party,” which was not only interesting but also attractive. Most of the roles of the play are Disney princesses’ stepmothers, who were usually considered as evil roles, but they expressed their real and tough love to the princesses in the tea party. The performers acted out the play perfectly with fine costumes and outstanding acting skills, and I was inexpressibly astonished at their excellent performance. “Zootopia” also was an impressive performance. The team cooperated well and every role did a good job.

Learning and experiencing the beauty of the English language in the show was unforgettable. Thanks to all the people who had worked hard for the show; I had a great time that afternoon.
