Courtyard-style shopping mall to open next June
    2021-08-04  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

THE first phase of INLI, a 45,000-square-meter courtyard-style shopping mall in Qianhai’s Mawan area, is scheduled to open in June next year.

Unlike the traditional enclosed indoor shopping malls, INLI will be an open-plan street block that integrates Lingnan-style architectural and cultural elements. It will be developed in two phases. The first phase covers a floor area of 30,000 square meters.

INLI consists of three themed courtyards and two sunken plazas. The design of the mall was inspired by the spatial layout of Lingnan traditional villages to create a commercial space blending shopping with dining, sightseeing and other entertainment elements.

According to the mall’s project managers, INLI aims to create a quality living space for local residents and a new circle for some well-known brands such as READING MI, Topgolf, WE gallery and Lavazza in the fields of lifestyle, design, art and social catering.

The shopping mall is being jointly constructed by Shenzhen International Holdings Ltd., Shopping Center Professionals Group (SCPG) and Vanke Space Tech.

Within this year, some 100,000 square meters of commercial space will be put into use in Qianhai, part of an effort by the Qianhai authority to build the area into a new international urban center that is suitable for living and working.
