OUTBOUND passengers taking ferries to the Hong Kong airport from Shekou Cruise Homeport need to provide a negative nucleic acid test report issued within 72 hours upon departure.

Passengers need to complete all the check-in procedures for their flights at Shekou Cruise Homeport. They must purchase ferry tickets 24 hours prior to the ferry trip and arrive at least 150 minutes before takeoff at the Hong Kong airport, the ferry operator Shenzhen Oceanus Group said.

Travelers must make sure they meet the entry requirements at their destination countries as well as boarding requirements at the Hong Kong airport. If they are rejected from boarding at the Hong Kong airport, they will be sent back to the mainland and will be subject to a 14-day centralized quarantine, the operator reminded.

For other passengers traveling from Shekou Cruise Homeport, those traveling to Macao will be rejected from entry if they stay overseas within 21 days prior to entry.

If they have stayed in Hong Kong within 14 days prior to entry, they must provide a negative nucleic acid test report issued within 24 hours upon entry and are subject to a 14-day medical observation in designated places.

If the visitors have traveled to Taiwan within 21 days prior to entry, they must provide a negative nucleic acid test report issued within 24 hours and accept a 21-day medical observation in designated places, the operator said.
