SHENZHEN Bao’an International Airport has installed three drop-off kiosks for passengers to mail home items that they can’t bring aboard the aircraft.

Passengers face dilemmas when they go through a security check whether items like cosmetics or skincare products are allowed in their hand or carry-on luggage or are oversized and should have been checked in. Most of the time, passengers have no choice but to discard these items or go to the second-floor service counter to mail them.

But now with the kiosks installed at the rear of security check Lane 15, 19A and 29, they can mail the items by scanning a WeChat code and completing the delivery procedures within 30 minutes.
