Pets keep us company, and when we are not in a good mood, they can cheer us up. When you keep a pet for a long time, you two are bonded together in a way. You’ll love each other unconditionally and irrevocably, like family members. But why do people keep pets? There are reasons for this.

Pets can help us to keep in a good mood. If a person feels upset and lonely, he or she may get a pet.

Even though pets don’t talk, they can give us strength, even if it’s only a soft purr. The person may cheer up again with the “help” of the pet.

Pets can be helpful to our daily lives. This is mainly for dogs actually. Sometimes you’re busy with work or something, and don’t have spare hands, and your pets may help you get the mail and bark or meow if there’s someone at the door or if someone calls (if the pets are well trained).

It’s another perfect reason for pet keeping for busy people; besides, talented pets are good playmates.

Finally, for some disabled people, life isn’t always easy. What if their family members aren’t around? They sometimes can’t do certain things on their own.

Therefore, some may get a pet. Some pets can help blind people while others can help people in wheelchairs.
