Subsidy for tram rides LONGHUA District now pilots using the digital yuan when riding trams. The program was jointly launched by the district government, Agricultural Bank of China and the tram operator Tuesday. Citizens who register for using digital yuan to ride trams will get a subsidy of 20 yuan (US$3.09). They also have a chance to win another 20, 50 or 300 digital yuan subsidy in a lucky draw. A participant can win up to 320 digital yuan from the Agricultural Bank of China for tram rides.
