‘That Physics Show’ mixes science and fun
    2021-08-12  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

The Chinese version of “That Physics Show,” based on hundreds of physics experiments, will be staged this weekend.

The award-winning show features segments on motion, momentum, vacuum, friction, energy, density, fluid motion, sound waves and sound vibration, light waves, temperature and many more from the world in which we live. Audience members of all ages will enjoy this fun, engaging and interactive show.

Sure, you could probably see many of these experiments online, but they are much more impressive live. In many ways, it is like a magic show. The stage will be strewn with contraptions that performers will use for their “tricks.” However, unlike magicians who fanatically guard the secrets to their illusions, performers will share you how everything works.

For science buffs, the outcomes may be obvious, but for those who are eager to learn science, it will be eye-popping. As the original show demonstrator David Maiullo is fond of saying, “Science is all about breaking things!”
