Animal Night

Shenzhen Safari Park is holding the Animal Night event (59.9 yuan) on weekend nights throughout this summer. Visitors can see how animals, like tigers, kangaroos, leopards, fennec foxes and flamingos, behave at night and understand them more through staffers’ introduction. At 7:45 p.m., an actress will play a mermaid in a shark pool for eight minutes.

Hours: 6:30-9 p.m., weekends

Magnum photos

Sixty-three photos depicting China from 1949 to the 1990s by seven Magnum photographers, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Marc Riboud, Werner Bischof, Rene Burri, Inge Morath, Bruno Barbey and Hiroji Kubota, are on display until Sept. 20.

Pets Rock

Sculptures, toys and installations of Pets Rock’s characters are on display until Oct. 7. The characters are a group of anthropomorphic cats, dogs and guinea pigs dressed as timeless human icons in pop culture, so you will see a graceful cat dressed like Audrey Hepburn in “Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” a feline Marilyn Monroe in “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes” and a guinea pig dressed like Queen Elizabeth II.

Ice Cream Feast

More than 20 ice cream brands, such as Meiji, Alexander’s, Voro, Tomi and Helianthus, as well as some coffee and soft drink shops and bakeries, are setting up booths at the Ice Cream Feast. A 28-yuan ticket includes two ice cream samples, a snack or light meal sample and a gift.

Time: 2-8 p.m., Aug. 13-15

Summer Fun

More than 10 ice cream, dessert and coffee brands, such as Meiji, Zhong Xue Gao, Oatly and Hey Tea, are joining KK Mall’s Summer Fun event, which also includes discounts in other shops. A 19.9-yuan ticket includes three ice cream or dessert samples.
