The Guangdong provincial final of the 7th China International College Students’ Internet+ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition closed on August 11. Shenzhen Polytechnic won 9 gold awards and ranked 1st in vocational colleges having the most gold awards, Shenzhen Special Zone Daily reported.

Shenzhen Polytechnic had 9 projects in 5 competition groups of the provincial final. All the projects won gold awards and 3 gained the highest scores in their groups.

Since the start of the competition, Shenzhen Polytechnic has come up with 2,049 projects and over 7,000 students registered for the competition, which is a new peak for Shenzhen Polytechnic.

Based on its 7 years of experience, Shenzhen Polytechnic has formed a unique competition model and held a Lihu entrepreneurship training camp. With real projects created for entrepreneurship and innovation competitions, the camp is committed to promoting the deep integration of specialized innovation, focusing on strengthening professional education from the industrial perspective.

With comprehensive leadership development and systematic business education (strategy, organization, marketing, operation, finance, intellectual property, etc.), it has become a practical and lightweight Master of Business Administration education model.

Through the competition, Shenzhen Polytechnic has raised many innovative and entrepreneurial talents and stimulated the whole school’s passion for the competition.

Fulfilling the competition purpose of “promoting education by competition, promoting learning by competition, and promoting innovation by competition,” Shenzhen Polytechnic has improved its education quality for entrepreneurship and innovation.

The provincial final of the 7th China International College Students’ Internet+ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (Guangdong Province) is co-held by the Department of Education of Guangdong Provincial, Guangdong United Front Work Department, and other 13 departments and bureau units.

Since the opening of the competition, over 250,900 projects and 1.02 million students have registered. Among them, 122,100 projects and 474,500 students are on the vocational education track while 41,400 projects and 173,100 students are on the “Youth Building a Red Dream” track. All data hit a record high.

In the vocational education track of the competition, 944 projects entered the provincial rematch and 90 entered the provincial final contesting for 30 gold awards.

In the “Youth Building a Red Dream” track, 632 projects entered the provincial rematch and 80 entered the provincial final contesting for 30 gold awards.
