I went to Sanya with my friends last week. It was my first time traveling to Sanya, which is located in the southernmost part of Hainan Province, and I was so excited because I love beach and water sports. Our flight time that day was pretty early. During the summer holiday, I usually get up at around 9 a.m., but I got up at 5 a.m. that day full of energy. It only took about one hour from Shenzhen to Sanya, and all we saw below from the airplane on our way was the beautiful sea. When we landed in Sanya, we were greeted by coconut trees on both sides of the road. They are the landmark of Sanya.

Sanya is a popular tourist destination that is famous for its beach and tropical climate, so the first thing my friends and I did when we arrived was to go surfing. We put on our swimming suits, headed out to the seaside, and prepared for surfing. The coach taught us some basic skills, and I quickly picked them up. When I stood on the surfboard, I found that the sea looked like a mirror, sparkling in the sunlight. I felt relaxed. At night, we also had a lot of activities.

For example, my friends and I rode electric bikes to experience Sanya’s night scenery. Sanya was busy at night, and there was lots of tasty food and fun games booths near the street. I love the enthusiasm of Sanya’s people.

The next day we went diving. It was also my first time doing it, and I was a bit nervous. The coach taught us some basic knowledge about diving, such as balancing ear pressure and monitoring the air volume underwater. With all that prepared, we put on our diving suits. As we were beginners, the coach asked us to dive to a depth of just 6 meters. The underwater scenery was incredible, and I could see much marine life, such as turtles, shells and octopuses. I like it so much.

Tall coconut trees, golden beaches, beautiful sea, this is Sanya, a fantastic holiday resort.
