XIBU New Residence is a square Hakka enclosed residence which was built in 1928 in Longgang District. The architecture occupies 6,735 square meters and owns 99 rooms. Ancestors of the Li, who migrated from Wuhua County, Meizhou City to Xibu New Village, built the residence that is now still the home of the Li family’s descendants. The Hakka enclosed residence is a kind of living quarters owned by the Hakka people.
