NCSOFT said that global pre-ordered units of its new multi-platform MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game) “Lineage W” have exceeded 2 million.

The global pre-order was opened at 10 a.m. Aug. 19 and surpassed 2 million in 15 hours. It is the shortest time taken among MMORPG games ever.

Lineage W global pre-order promotion is being held on its official website and two major markets (Google Play and Apple App Store).

Users who have made the advance reservation can receive various game items and additional rewards after the game is officially released.

Lineage W is a global title succeeded Lineage series and developed under the concept of “worldwide.” It selected “Quarterview” based on full-3D, and will provide global one-build, multi-platform (mobile, PC, console) and services. It also introduced real-time artificial intelligence translation function for global users.

NCsoft is planning to launch Lineage W at the same time in the world market by the end of this year.
