SAMSUNG Electronics will release its 3rd generation foldable phones, Galaxy Z fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3, in more than 40 countries. Galaxy Watch 4 series and Bluetooth earphones Galaxy Buds 2 will also be released.

Galaxy Z fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 will be released in about 40 countries, including Korea, the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and France. Galaxy Watch 4 series and Galaxy Buds 2, which were released along with foldable phones, will also be released throughout Korea, the U.S., and Europe. Samsung Electronics is planning to expand its new product to 130 countries by October.

Since the release Aug. 11, Galaxy Z fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 have received good reviews in advance reservations in about 70 countries around the world, leading the popularization of foldable phones.

In Korea, more than 270,000 units were opened Aug. 24, and it is the largest amount ever. Pre-ordered units in U.S. also surpassed the total sales of ‘Galaxy Z’ series this year. In India, it recorded 2.7 times more reservations than Galaxy Note 20 on Aug. 24, the first day of pre-order before its official release Sept. 10.

Samsung Electronics is conducting online launch events of Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 for media and partners depending on local situations in each country. It is also operating offline stores with strong quarantine system. In particular, the variety promotion show ‘Production Z’ has hit 14 million cumulative views since its release Aug. 13, gaining high popularity.

‘Production Z’ is the real variety show featuring Galaxy’s big fan Yoo Jae-suk, Kim Hee-chul, Mi-Joo, Seunghee, and Jeong Se-woon to establish an agency for foldable phone marketing.
