‘Long Life Design’

Design enthusiasts should head to the “Long Life Design: Thinking and Practice 2000-2020” exhibition where a wide range of Japanese and Chinese products are on display. The exhibition runs until Sept. 12.

Shinmura’s posters

Posters designed by Norito Shinmura are on display at an exhibition (38 yuan) until Sept. 12. In his works, nature and society are closely linked and fishing nets, bedding, abandoned cartons and snow are also among the elements in Shinmura’s designs.

‘Dynamic Yunnan’

The dance musical “Dynamic Yunnan” will be shown in Shenzhen next week. Directed by Yunnan dancer Yang Liping, the show is a combination of folk and modern elements into one large original singing and dance show. It combines stage, ecology, lighting effects, loads of silk and different kinds of percussion.
