‘A Wonderful Journey’

“A Wonderful Journey: An Art Exhibition Dedicated to Kids” is a free exhibition of paintings, installations and videos by 12 Chinese contemporary artists. The exhibition running until Sept. 20 takes “journey” as the theme to invite children to embark on an artistic trip and unleash their imagination. Children can also express themselves by participating in onsite programs.

Red currency

Old Chinese banknotes and coins issued and used in the revolutionary bases and liberated areas led by the Communist Party of China from 1927 to 1949, as well as the renminbi issued after 1949 are on display at an exhibition running until Oct. 15. Entry is free.

‘Challenge Mars’

The “Challenge Mars” exhibition running until Nov. 1 displays space knowledge and the achievements of China in the space industry, as well as offering interactive experiences for visitors. There are multiple zones simulating the Mars exploration and astronaut training.

Photo exhibition

A photo exhibition cele-brating the 10th anniversary of the opening of the Shenzhen Universiade Center in Longgang District is being held at the center until Sept. 25. The center was one of the main venues of the 26th Summer Universiade from Aug. 12 to 23, 2011. After that, the center continues to hold grand international events.
