Michelangelo replicas

Shenzheners can get a close look at reproductions of Michelangelo’s frescos in the Vatican’s Sistine Chapel at an exhibition (98 yuan) running until Oct. 15. The exhibition features full-size replicas of the artist’s works at the Sistine Chapel: “Genesis” and “The Last Judgment.”

Tango’s cartoons

Shanghai artist, illustrator and author Tango is exhibiting his cat-themed cartoons at the Uniwalk shopping center until Sept. 12. Tango, whose real name is Gao Youjun, gained global popularity for his quirky cartoons, which poke fun at the everyday routines and oddities of modern life.

Venue: Uniwalk, Bao’an District (宝安区壹方城购物中心)

‘Boundless’

At the “Boundless” exhibition (118 yuan) running until Oct. 1o, visitors will learn the development of the world space industry including China’s latest achievements and can play in several immersive virtual space areas.

Magnum photos

Sixty-three photos depicting China from 1949 to the 1990s by seven Magnum photographers, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Marc Riboud, Werner Bischof, Rene Burri, Inge Morath, Bruno Barbey and Hiroji Kubota, are on display until Sept. 20.

Ding Cong’s caricatures

Master Ding Cong’s caricatures related to the 1941 rescue of 800 patriotic intellectuals during the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression are on display until Oct. 7.
